Shinglefish Kauai is offering a unique self-guided painting experience that melds a choose your own adventure format with creative play and reflection.
Sign up in the gallery to start then and there. If you sign up online we will contact you to book your preferred time.
Contact us for groups or a covid compliant paint event for your party.
After sign up, you will be given a passcode for an online page to choose one of 3 exercises that combine the power of self-reflection, guided inquiry, and creative play to create a memorable experience that enriches your life and helps you to reach a higher vibration. OR… just do your thing and come play with some paint!
Come into the shop and we will set you up with media paper, paint, a brush, and some rinse water. Bring along anything else you think you may need, perhaps a pen, journal etc. IF the Spot or Lotus Garden is open, you are welcome to get food and drinks while you paint.
When it is time to paint, log into the passcode enabled web page and choose your adventure.
Selections
create your word for 2021
This exercise will bring you through a process to help you choose a word for 2021 and paint it out! You get to create the best version of yourself by focussing on one word that resonates with you. You will leave with a daily reminder of who you want to be in the world and how you want to show up..
WHAT BRINGS YOU JOY?
This exercise will bring you closer to noticing everyday moments and physical things that bring you joy. Doesn’t that sound great? It is moments of joy that make happiness. Why not spend some time reflecting on what exactly brings you joy and painting something that will constantly do just that!
UN-BECOMING
What do you carry around with you that you want to strip down and let go of? We learn to become certain roles, certain people, have our certain place. What do you want to un-become? This exercise will allow you to explore what might keep your essential self hidden from view by societal expectations…whoa that’s heavy?! That’s why we combine the power of creative play by painting and reflection.
